April Calendar

Last week the Garden I/T pod got pumpkins! The toddlers were able to go to the garden and chose their own pumpkin. Each class decided to decorate their pumpkins to send home. Cottage and Terrace decided to use markers, while the Orchard babies painted theirs.

Orchard Infants: Fall Painting

The Orchard Infants explored with paint during small group time. In honor of the start of fall, we chose orange and yellow paint for the infants to explore with. Many it was their first time experiencing paint on their hands (and feet!) We found that the infants who explored with their hands mostly scratched at the paint. Kelly

Greek Dancing!

A big thank you to Mendel & McCoy’s family for coming in and teaching us how to Greek dance, which is traditionally done with white scarves. The children enjoy when families come and share something from home, whether it be reading a favorite book, playing/dancing to music, or getting involved in a cooking project. Please let us know if you’d be interested in coming in and sharing one of your family traditions with us!
